There were cowboy/girl hats on the catwalk at Acne in London last week, and for AW12 Isabel Marant embraced a Western theme. How do you wear it in "real life" without looking to theme-y or like you just left a rodeo? Team a Western-inspired top with a leather mini, bare legs (for now) and a pair of studded ankle boots (Chloe if you have the budget ;) like Bara has.

New York Fashion Week SS 2012

NYC, September 2011.

I have been doing touristy things in London this week (a Jack the Ripper tour with London Walks and a tour of Greenwich which is where the Equestrian for the Olympics will be held) with one of my best friend's from Australia and there is definitely a buzz and excitement in the air.....with lots of bunting still up from the Jubilee celebrations, final Olympics preparations underway, Royal Ascot last week and Wimbledon starting tomorrow....it is a fabulous time to be in London!

In the spirit of all the sporting events hitting the capital in the next month, I found this photograph from September last year in NYC. I love how she has teamed her souvenir sweatshirt from the US Open with Chanel!
