Polish model Jac (IMG), after Elie Saab Couture, Paris, July 2012.
p.s. Have you seen the amazing illustrations by Danny Robertsfor IMG's show package? So brilliant. Danny is insanely talented. Check out the video and illustrations here.
Love how Tatiana has worn her hi-lo/dipped hem dress: cinched with a belt to make it empire line-ish and black laced up ankle boots. The way she has styled her look reminds me a little of Laura's look....
I photographed this handsome littlie last year after Paul Smith (his mama is Sanny Dodd, Head of Licensing for Paul Smith - hence his cute little Paul Smith outfit) so it was nice to see him again!
Yesterday, when it was teaming with rain here in London, I saw 3 separate girls wearing army jackets/anoraks over dresses and thought they looked great. Inspired by their looks, I decided to post the photos of this girl and Jac (see post above) from couture in Paris....both wearing an army jacket in very different ways. If you don't already have one in your wardrobe, vintage/charity stores always seem to have a few in stock (there is one vintage shop in the Marais in Paris which always seems to have a couple available).
MissPeony Lim, before A Show, Tuileries, Paris, March 2012.
With a nipped-in-waist, luxe shiny fabric and abundant ruffles, Peony's coat/jacket is perfect for the coming season. Team with leather pants and super high heels to complete the dramatic look.
Such a fresh, pretty summery look: a lovely white peplum top, jeans, wedges and a basket bag (so chic and so often confined to fruit and veg shopping at the markets, or carrying things to the beach. This brings it back to city wear).
Okay, so I think you all know that I love anything in lace and this Valentino dress on Tamu is no exception. I love the shape, the fabric and the beautiful ivory colour. A dress to take you from day to evening and everywhere in between.
