Yesterday, when it was teaming with rain here in London, I saw 3 separate girls wearing army jackets/anoraks over dresses and thought they looked great. Inspired by their looks, I decided to post the photos of this girl and Jac (see post above) from couture in Paris....both wearing an army jacket in very different ways. If you don't already have one in your wardrobe, vintage/charity stores always seem to have a few in stock (there is one vintage shop in the Marais in Paris which always seems to have a couple available).

Recreate her look (kind of):

A fresh summery take on the coming season's obsession with all shades of purple (amethyst, grape, violet, aubergine, plum)....I love how Violaine has teamed her purple trousers with the neutral gilet, earrings and bag.

Love this dress so much on Tamu - it hugs in all the right places and while it shows glimpses of skin, it isn't really revealing. And her Roberta Di Camerino raffia clutch? So fun!

Another example of not keeping clothes/accessories for "good" (as my mum would say) but wearing beautiful pieces as often as you can. If you have a pair of fabulous statement earrings like Vika's that you save for special occasions, unearth them from your jewellery stash and try them for day (with a denim jacket or white shirt perhaps).

Ukrainian tv presenter, journalist and organiser of Mercedes-Benz sponsored Kiev fashion week, Daria Shapovalova, before Alexander Wang.
