Love Mackenzie's old-school Paris map book - it was the one I used to use before I got my iPhone (and which I now couldn't live without as I have a rubbish sense of direction....even this last week in Paris for the couture shows I managed to lead a group of  photographers in completely the wrong direction after we came off the Metro!).

Love Aline's off-duty style and the clever way that she makes pieces from her wardrobe work when she is travelling. For example, this velvet jacket she took from super casual (i.e. teaming  with cut-off jean shorts) to the more sophisticated look in the photograph above. It isn't easy to pack for a long trip away so pieces that can go easily, effortlessly from day into night (and which don't take up much space in your suitcase) are essential.
